experiencing art
Experiencing Art is a fun and educational class for home-schooled children that is taught in Mr. Raack's home/studio and on location. The goal is to introduce children to a broad range of visual concepts and image-making processes that will enrich their artistic experience and their appreciation of art. Discussions of artistic issues and actual demonstrations help students to understand aspects of composition, handling materials, artistic processes, and visual content.
independent study
Independent Study is for students 16 years of age and older, who have had some exposure to drawing and/or painting and wish to work in a rigorous environment. This mentoring situation provides special opportunities to draw and paint from life along with the artist in his studio or on location.
